The maximum effective kill range of the High Output SafeGuard UV Cleansers Ultraviolet Lamp is 1 meter, approximately 36 inches or 1/2 meter on either side of the Lamp. The Lamp is 16 inches long. So if the treated area is greater than these dimensions a second Lamp may be required.
